Absolute!, Inc. is passionate about bringing user communities together in unique and refreshing ways. To facilitate that goal, Absolute! has built TeamAbsolute.INFO, an online community website aimed at users, consultants and employees who operate in Deltek, Inc.’s Vision® software.
TeamAbsolute.INFO’s mission is three-fold: Inform, Inspire and Integrate, with features that support this mission. News, references to other online resources, forums, blogs and platforms to share successes create networking opportunities in the Deltek Vision® online arena.
“We found that there are other sites where Deltek Vision® users can ask questions or network, but there weren’t sites that encouraged the give-and-take of information quite the way we do,” says Kimber Sullivan, Blog contributor and Absolute!, Inc. Project Manager. For example, TeamAbsolute.INFO has a Showcase page, where individuals are encouraged to congratulate their co-workers on jobs well done. Showcasing new initiatives or upgrades allows for what Sullivan calls, “project-based networking”.
“Project-based networking is where you find other companies who have done or are interested in doing projects that are a close match to your initiatives. Projects are often where companies are most challenged, and where networking can help them achieve their goals,” Sullivan explains. It is Absolute’s hope that companies can connect at this project level, possibly even collaborating and making the leap from online communication to personal, phone or face-to-face interaction.
Another unique feature is a Shared Gems area, where users can share report files, webinars and other useful tips.
